Harvington Hall is gearing up for its Festival programme of special ticketed events this Summer. Open Air performances of Crescent Theatre’s ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ will show in the Hall’s stunning gardens at 7.00pm on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th July 2016. Described as, “Unabashedly slapstick,” this adaptation of Jules Verne’s classic story promises a whirlwind of a show. Danger, romance and comic surprises abound! Tickets are available from Harvington Hall at £14 per person. Drinks and ice cream will be available in the interval. Visitors are asked to bring their own seating.
On a more musical note, the Hall’s atmospheric Great Chamber will host a Classical Evening on Friday 1st July at 7.30pm. The multiple award-winning Cassia String Quartet will play three classic Chamber pieces: Mozart’s Dissonance K465, Britten’s Three Divertimenti, and Beethoven’s Razumovsky Op. 59 No. 1. Tickets, selling at just £17.00 per person, include wine and canapés in the interval, and they are selling fast, so please call the Hall Manager on 01562 777846 to guarantee your seat.
